I was raised in the Caribbean and got to study in Spain and the United States, where I experienced multiple, aesthetic perspectives that I use in my work today.

At an enterprise level, I’ve worked on human-centered experiences for Fintech, creating and managing the design system for an internal-facing data platform. I worked alongside product, design and engineering; researching, prototyping and user testing proposed solutions.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked as a front-end developer on the design and build of marketing sites, powered by WordPress and Craft Content Management Systems. Often meeting with clients to purposefully build longterm relationships.

At the start of my career, I established a small business (LLC) and won city and state contracts, like the Virginia State Board of Elections Voter Application Form. I also designed PRSA winning marketing campaigns, corporate identity kits and culturally-sensitive festival branding.

Overall, my philosophy lies in following design thinking methodology, enabling best practices at a system level, building products with accessibility in mind and enabling the automation of efficiencies—all in service of the human condition.
